Kuipers for Congress

July 17, 2010 - Jodi, Wayne's wife, led a great group of "Wheels for Wayne" participants in the Holland Hundred. 13 riders rode between 36-100 miles to show support for Wayne's campaign. Mackenzie Kuipers and her friend Caroline were two of the riders. Go Team!

July 17, 2010 - Wayne and a great group of volunteers participated in the 2010 Sparta parade, including Amy, Anna and Baby Ella as part of the Kids for Kuipers group. Kent County Commissioner Tom Antor also joined Wayne in the parade. Thanks to everyone who was there and to the town of Sparta for a great event!

July 3-5, 2010 - Wayne had a great Fourth of July weekend traveling through the district. Thanks to all the people who planned such great community events! On Saturday, Wayne and his team participated in the Whitehall and Montague parade. A tremendous group of supporters was with Wayne and his family in Ludington on Saturday for the parade after attending the World Famous Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast in Manistee that morning. On Monday, the group gathered again for the parade in Grandville. Hope everyone had a great July 4th! We did!!

June 12, 2010 - Wayne visited the 2010 Asparagus Festival in Hart and participated in the parade. We're fortunate to have a strong agriculture industry in Michigan.

June 12-13, 2010 - A group of Wayne's supporters, including his wife Jodi and daughter Jenna, participated in the Holland MS150 to help raise money for MS. Each person biked between 150-175 miles, and the group raised more than $2,000 for the cause. Go team Kuipers!

June 4 , 2010 - Wayne is joined by two of his young supporters at the Overisel Reformed Church in Hamilton for the Rural Rush for a Cure 5K run. Wayne also ran a 5K in Norton Shores on Saturday, June 5.

May 31 , 2010 - Memorial Day is a time to remember those who have fought to protect our country. My family, including my wife Jodi, my daughter Mackenzie, and my brothers and their families as well as a tremendous group of supporters gathered on this remembrance day and participated in the Fruitport Memorial Day parade. Thanks to all the veterans who have served our nation!

April 2 , 2010 - I had the opportunity to attend Easter egg hunts in Grand Haven and Fennville. The kids were adorable and it was great fun to get out and meet more residents from West Michigan.

March 13, 2010 - Whitehall and Montague held a fantastic first-ever Blarney Day Bash put on by the Montague Whitehall Rotary Club. A great group of my supporters participated in the parade.

March 11, 2010 - Wayne was recognized by the Michigan FFA Association for his support of the agricultural industry and the FFA at a legislative reception in the state Capitol, where more than 200 FFA delegates gathered. He met with with FFA members from Coopersville, Fremont, Grant, Montague and Ravenna.
